I wanted to write songs for my band Uke’n’Smile but nothing I wrote felt like UnS material. So a week into the effort I had enough songs for a solo album, which I named Writing songs, righting wrongs.

I’d appreciate if you would give it a listen. And if you were to enjoy some of the tunes, please share the link to the album. Thanks!

Classic Kenny Chesney tune played on an 8-string tenor ukulele… recorded w/ my iPhone.

A cover of Amos Lee’s Windows are rolled down on an 8-string tenor ukulele.

There’s a song I normally play only on the piano, but it’s fun to arrange it to the uke w/ a different vibe. Or it may be pure sacrilegious heresy to some.

Either way. 🙂

An acoustic cover Amos Lee’s Sweet Pea on an 8-string Tenor Ukulele. Recorded on my iPhone.

An acoustic cover Amos Lee’s Night Train on an 8-string Tenor Ukulele. Recorded on my iPhone.

This is one of my favorite Amos Lee songs to play live, and I will be adding it to our set list for my new band Uke’n’Smile.

Recorded today w/ an 8-string tenor uke and my iPhone…

Used a Lanikai baritone uke to record this Kenny Chesney tune during my lunch break today. Recorded to an iPhone.
